

Martha is preceded in death by her parents, husband; Claude Johnson, sons; JayLynn, and Bryan Johnson, step-mother; Rosie Lee Turner, sisters; Carline Holland Ferrell (Willie), Phyllis Pruitt (Lonnell), brothers; Roy Holland, J.C. Chambers, Charles Turner, Jame Holland, aunt; Beulah Mae Holland Redmon, and grandmother; Lela Alexander.
Martha leaves behind a large and loving family including, daughters; Cassandra Holland Moody, Dora Johnson Dalton, son; Claude Johnson Jr., grandchildren; David Vincent Holland, Xavier Stefani Nickol Holland, William Lynn Dalton Jr., India Johnson, Doraine Leeann Dalton, Zoe Whren, Brandon Woods, eleven great-grandchildren, sisters; Margaret L. Peck, Darlyn Rivers (Anthony), brothers; Larry Holland (Vivian), Stamey Holland (Emma), Otis Holland, Sammy Holland, two brother-in-laws; Lonnell Pruitt, Willie Ferrell, many nieces and nephews, including, Keith Holland (Thomasine), special cousins; Dorothy White, and Lillian White, her wonderful group of friends; Judy Parks, Purney Gray, Francis Moten, and a host of friends and loved ones.
Mrs. Johnson loved to spend time with her family, visit with her friends, go visit the rest homes around her (driving herself!) and would bring a smile to everyone she met along the way.
A public lie-in-state has been changed due to weather to Monday, February 7, 2022 from 2:30-5:00pm. A graveside service will be held to celebrate Martha's life at Belmont Cemetery, on Tuesday. February 8, 2022 at 12 pm.
