Martha Thompson Webster

She was born December 28, 1918, in Alamance County and was the daughter of the late Kern and Pearl Crawford Thompson. She was a former employee of the Iredell and Alamance County Health Departments and was a Registered Nurse.

In 1973, She was preceded in death by her husband, Sam Webster, Jr.

Mrs. Webster is survived by two sons, Sam T. Webster, III (Debra) of Wilkesboro and Steve Webster of Clarksville, VA; a sister, Nancy Loy (Herb) of Burlington, NC; four grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and four step-great-grandchildren.

Memorial service celebrating her life will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, May 31, 2012, in the Westmoreland Chapel of Bunch-Johnson Funeral Home with the Rev. Tim Bean officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Inurnment will follow at 2:00 PM in the Alamance Memorial Park in Burlington.
