Mary Olive Tilghman Angell

She was born June 25, 1922, in Kenton, TN, and was the daughter of the late Ferris Blake and Blanche McNeely Tilghman. She was a faithful and devoted homemaker and a member of Forest Park Presbyterian Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death on December 2, 1966, by her husband, Monrovie Jones Angell, Jr.; and two brothers, Max E. Tilghman and Rex E. Tilghman.

She is survived by a son, M.J. “Rovie” Angell III (Elizabeth) of Jacksonville, NC; a daughter Mary Angell Dunning (Daniel) of Greensboro; four grandchildren, Mary Angell Hall (Grant) and M.J. “Jones” Angell IV (Elizabeth), both of Durham and Lauren McNeely Dunning and Mary Katelin Dunning both of Raleigh; and four great-grandchildren.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Friday, October 26, 2012, at Oakwood Cemetery with the Rev. Scott Jeffreys officiating.

The family will speak with friends at the cemetery immediately following the service.
