

Nancy is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Jiles Austin Cochran Sr., grandson, Antonio Marcus Ortiz, great-grandson, Chandler Tatum, brothers; James (Bud) Davidson; Virgil Davidson; Roger Davidson; and Wylie Davidson.
Nancy leaves behind her children: Jiles Jr. (Lisa) Cochran; Mylinda (Tony) Ortiz; and Jennifer McNeely, grandchildren: Justin Cochran; Jessica (Ortega) Tatum; Brandon (Abby) Gregg; Austin and Nicolas Ortiz; and Megan (Jovanie) Lopez, great-grandchildren: Jayden; Jonathon; and Jake Cochran; Chance Tatum; Ninah and Piper Lopez; Gabriel and Liberty Gregg; siblings: Cynthia Brewer of Ohio; and Bonnie Blake of West Virginia.
Nancy grew up in Glen Daniel, West Virginia, and lived in Fairdale, West Virginia, until 1989 when they moved to North Carolina. She was a faithful and loving wife, mother, nana, and great-nana. She was a dedicated Christian and loved her church family at Calvary Baptist Church in Statesville.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 19, 2022, from 10:30-11:30 am at Bunch-Johnson Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held after the visitation, starting at 11:30 am at the funeral home chapel with Pastor Chris Haizlip officiating. Burial will follow at Iredell Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Nancy's grandsons, Justin Cochran, Brandon Gregg, Jovanie Lopez, Austin and Nicolas Ortiz, and Ortega Tatum.
