Pauline Annette Smith, 68, of Statesville, died Monday, February 4, 2013, at her residence. She was born in Martin County, Minnesota, on September 11, 1944, and was the daughter of the late Edward and Ivadell Miller Smith. She was a financial secretary with the First Baptist Church and was a partner in Cool Springs Mulch and Stone Company. She loved to fish, read and loved the outdoors. Pauline is survived by two brothers, Dennis Smith (Sally) and Milton Smith (Carolina) both of Fairmont, Minnesota; and a very special friend and partner, Allen Sharpe. A memorial service celebrating her life will be held 3:00 PM Friday, February 8, 2013, at First Baptist Church with the Rev. Dr. Jeff Porter officiating.
