Phyllis Diane Anderson Bowers

Born June 15, 1959 in Iredell County, she was the daughter of Arthur and Della Mae Anderson. Mrs. Bowers spent many years of her childhood in Wilkes County.

She loved to read, fish, go to races, and was a good carpenter, helping her husband, Robert.

She worked for H & R Block as a tax preparer, and was a member of Fishing Creek Baptist Church.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Robert Lynn Bowers of the home; her son, Jessie Lynn Bowers of Statesville, and daughter, Michelle Dawn Bowers Roy (Sam) of Fort Mill, SC; grandchildren, Olivia Mae Davis and Lili Srimeeta Roy; brothers, Arthur Wayne Anderson (Nancy), Carl Henry Anderson (Barbara) and sister, Norma Jean Moore (Tommy) all of Wilkes County.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM Saturday, November 8, 2014 at Bunch-Johnson Funeral Home.

A memorial service will begin at 2:00 PM, Saturday, November 8, 2014 in the Westmoreland Chapel of Bunch-Johnson Funeral Home with the Rev. Junior Yountz officiating.
