Randall Reid Nixon

Mr. Randall Reid (Randy) Nixon, 63, of 362 Cooper Farm Rd., Statesville, died Monday November 7, 2011 at his home. Born in Reidsville, N.C. on June 12, 1948, he was a son of Marshall Nixon and Margie Moore Nixon Cash, both of whom are deceased, along with his step father, Mr. J. Clay Cash. Randy graduated from Scotts High School and attended Mitchell Community College. He was disability retired. He enjoyed sports, was an avid reader and loved his dogs, Cotton and Maggie.

Survivors include his wife, Angela, two daughters, Sharon Benton (Tony) of Greensboro and Bari Nixon of Richmond, Va. along with grandchildren, Darien and Morgan.

The family will receive friends at the home Friday evening from 7:00 until 9:00 P.M. Burial will be private.
