Mrs. Ruth Elouise Myers Joines

Mrs. Ruth Elouise Myers Joines, 79, of 109 Village Dr. Statesville, died Wednesday October 27th at Iredell Memorial Hospital. Born in Iredell County on April 6, 1931, she was a daughter of the late Samuel Myers and Bessie Owens Myers. She was retired from Play More Lanes. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Raymond Edward Joines.

Survivors include two sons, William Harlan Sides, Jr. of Statesville and Raymond Joines, Jr. and his wife, Rachel of Ft. Worth, Texas, seven daughters, Kay H. Killy of Ft. Worth, Texas, Maxine Wallace of Statesville, Diane Jones and her husband, Tom of Salisbury, Laverne Lamberth and her husband, Darryl of Statesville, Barbara Fink and her husband, Jimmy of Mountain City, Tenn., Tena Euwer and her husband, Richard of Albemarle and Kim Renee Gabriel of Ft. Worth, Texas. Also surviving are three sisters, Sarah Wilkerson of Greensboro, Nancy Thomas of King and Gafflia Bowman, along with 16 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

Services celebrating Mrs. Joines' life will be conducted at 7:00 P.M. Saturday at the Westmoreland Chapel of Bunch-Johnson Funeral Home with Pastor David Bentley officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
