Steven Walter Morgan Sr.

Steven Walter Morgan Sr., 78, of Cleveland, NC, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 22, 2026, with his family by his side. He was born in Trenton, NJ, but spent most of his life in New Egypt, NJ, where he raised game birds on his farm.

He later moved to North Carolina to be close to his family. He cherished every moment spent with his wife, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. He was a proud gardener, loved hunting and fishing, and enjoyed collecting trains and coins.

He was the son of the late Ernest and Marie (Breece) Morgan. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his siblings Josie Breece and Paul Morgan.

He leaves behind his loving wife of 55 years, Patricia (Lovett) Morgan; his sons Guy Geiger (Dennise) and Steven Morgan Jr. (Shelly); his brother Ernest “Butch” Morgan (Nancy); and his sister-in-law Terri Morgan. He is also survived by his grandchildren Lauren (Tom), Rachel (Ethan), Nathan, Danielle (Jason), and Amanda; his great grandchildren Landon, Jack, Bentley, Logan, Ava, Riley, Mason, Cain, and Leo; and many nieces and nephews.

He will be deeply missed by all who loved him.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
