

Born July 2, 1949 in Iredell County, he was the son of the late Theodore Roosevelt Davidson, Sr. and Haldren Taggert Davidson, who survives.
He attended Iredell County Schools and retired from Davidson Landscaping.
In addition to his father, Mr. Davidson was preceded in death by three brothers, James Melvin Davidson, Bill Tucker, and Sun Tucker; two sisters, Priscilla Rankin, and Joann Miller. He was further preceded in death by his brothers-in-law, Bill Knox, Donald Clark, James Poole, Johnny Miller and Ssadeq Laghrida.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory are his four sons, Marlon O’Neal (Teresa) Dalton of Statesville, James Harris of Hawaii, Brandon Reid and Wynston Davidson , both of Statesville; a step-son, Garrett Meacham of Statesville; one daughter, Portia Geter of Charlotte; two brothers, Ketto (Shelia) Davidson and Labron Davidson, all of Statesville; ten sisters, Cora Bell Knox of Salisbury, Mae Lois Poole of St. Petersburg, Florida, Furrell J. Davidson of Mt. Ulla, Sharon (Mike) Cowan of Mooresville, Melinda D. McDonald, Annie Mae Davidson, Haldren D. Clark, Mary Satterfield and Margaret Satterfield, all of Statesville.
Also surviving are two grandchildren, Ke’trell Mock of Statesville and James Harris II., of Atlanta, Georgia; special friend, Leslie Jones Davidson and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members and friends.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 6, 2014 at Christian Outreach 1424 Rickert Street Statesville, NC 28677 from 10:30 AM – 11:00 AM.
The funeral service honoring Mr. Davidson will begin at 11:00 AM with Pastor Glenn Usry and Pastor James Hunter officiating. Burial will follow the service at Iredell Memorial Gardens.
