

Born in Iredell County on February 21, 1952, he was the son of the late William Crawford Brock and Mary Emma Caldwell Cherry.
Mr. Caldwell worked for Jack B. Wooten Company as a truck driver and was an avid Green Bay Packers fan.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Doris Jean Stevenson and Minnie J. Caldwell and brother-in-law, Joe Simmons.
Those left to cherish his memory are his sons, Ken Whiteside of Atlanta, GA, Greilynn Stevenson of Statesville and Jarvis (Wendy) Stevenson of Stony Point; one grandson, D. J. Everhart (Courtney) of Statesville; four brothers, Ronald Caldwell, Roy Greene, Barry Caldwell (Dana), and Cedric Corry; four sisters, Linda Lackey (Perry), Beatrice Caldwell, Connie Simmons and Rosemary Dye (Robert); brother-in-law, Billy Stevenson; uncle, Joseph Caldwell; aunts, Laura Adams of Wilmington, NC and Louise Adams of Ohio; Helene Stevenson and Deanna Stevenson; cousins, nephews, nieces and extended family members.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, February 17, 2016 from 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM at Bunch-Johnson Funeral Home.
The funeral service will begin at 2:00 PM in the Westmoreland Chapel of the funeral home.
