Catherine Jean Rexrode

Catherine Jean “Cathy” Rexrode, 54, of Staunton went to be with the Lord, Thursday, October 15, 2015, with her family by her side. She was born to Russell Woolridge and the late Sandra Woolridge. She was born March 5, 1961 in Waynesboro. Cathy was a former teacher for the Adult Learning Center. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Rosaleia Johnson. She is survived by her long-time companion, Gregory Breckenridge; three children, Carmen Chittum and husband, Steven, Crystal Garcia and husband, Antonio ,and Elrico Rexrode and his companion, Linda; nine grandchildren, Steven Jr., Lucila, Paradise, Tresa, Aliha, Christian, Turbo, Devontay, and Antonio Jr.; siblings, Michelle Wiseman, Rusty Woolridge, Tina Woolridge, Eugene Woolridge and Tammie Woolridge; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 3:30 p.m., Saturday, October 24, 2015, at Community Fellowship Church of Nazarene, 2954 Hermitage Road, Waynesboro, Virginia 22980, with Pastor Jim Corbin officiating. Family will receive friends after service at 42 Yonder Farm Lane, Waynesboro, Virginia 22980. The arrangements have been entrusted to the Staunton Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes.
