Dorothy Jordan Lindamood, 87, of Staunton, passed away on Friday August 3, 2012 at Augusta Health.
She was the widow of George W. Lindamood, who preceded her in death in 2000.
Mrs. Lindamood is survived by a son, William Randolph (Randy) Lindamood of Staunton. In addition to her son, she is also survived by two cousins, Richard and Robert Rohr, and a special friend, Eric Wilson of Raphine.
Dorothy was a member of Central United Methodist Church in Staunton.
A celebration of Dorothy’s life will be held at her home at a later date.
Mrs. Lindamood requested that no flowers be sent upon her death, however those wishing, may make memorial contributions in her honor to First Citizens Bank, C/O The Dorothy Lindamood Memorial Fund, 239 N. Central Ave., Staunton, VA 24401.
