

She was born in Alexandria, Virginia on August 4, 1933 the daughter of the late Frank Richard Allman and Elsie Payne Allman. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Harry William “Bill” Bendall, Jr., whom she married in 1952.
Mrs. Bendall is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Dorothy “Dori” (Bendall) and Steve Walk of 209 Kings Square, Staunton; grandson, Mitch Walk and wife, Beth Walk and great-granddaughter, Elsa Walk of Baltimore, MD; grandson, Tyler Walk and wife, Kelly Walk of Summit, New Jersey.
Sue had resided in Fishersville, Virginia and was a member of Tinkling Spring Presbyterian Church, but spent the majority of her life in Alexandria and Falls Church, Virginia where she was a member of Westminister Presbyterian Church and the Martha Washington Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star. She was primarily a homemaker who used her office management training to help in the family automobile business (former Bendall Pontiac Motor Sales, on King Street in Alexandria) and in several businesses in the northern Virginia area.
Sue and Bill were avid antique car collectors and active members of Virginia chapters of the Antique Automobile Club of America and the Model A Ford Club of America.
A private memorial service will be held in Falls Church, Virginia.
