Genevieve Lawson

Genevieve Lawson, 82, of Waynesboro passed away on Sunday, August 25, 2019 at Augusta Health. Born November 16, 1936 in Staunton, VA a daughter of the late Joseph Edward Lawson, Sr. and Laura (Shifflett) Lawson. Genevieve enjoyed babysitting for her family, fishing, and planting a garden. She was a resident of Kings Daughters Community Health and Rehab over the last three years. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister and four brothers. Survivors include her siblings, Joe Edward Lawson, Jr., Audrey May Spitler, Jack Allen Lawson, and Margie Harris; and numerous nieces and nephews. Following cremation, the family will receive friends at the home of her brother, Jack Lawson, 2435 Long Meadow Road, Waynesboro at any time.
