She was born April 4, 1940, a daughter of the late Harry M. Reed, Sr. and Charlene Merle (Curry) Reed.
Glenda was a former employee of Young’s Hardware in Staunton for fifty years.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sons, Randy Lee Campbell, Bruce Michael Campbell and Kim Wade Campbell.
Survivors include a brother, Harry M. Reed, Jr., and wife Sandra of Churchville; sister, Carolyn R. Burdett of Staunton; grandchildren, Jeremy Cupp, Jessica Jackson, Candice Pruiksma; cousins, Thomas F. Curry and Ada “Ginger” Leitch. She also leaves her K-9 companion, “Ebby”.
A service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, January 28, 2022 at the Staunton Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes, 18 W. Frederick St., Staunton with Pastor Gail Heiston officiating. Burial will follow in Thornrose Cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be her grandchildren and nephews.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
