Henrietta Marie Shepherd

Born October 30, 1930 in Kansas City, Missouri, she was the daughter of the late Henry Falk and Catherine (Steckbaur) Falk.

Ms. Shepherd was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. Henrietta worked for many years as an accomplished floral designer having worked for various florists over the years. In her spare time, she enjoyed teaching floral design to the residents at Baldwin Park and writing poetry.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandson, Jason Mangini.

Survivors include her loving children, Mary Shepherd and husband Douglas Lenat of Austin, TX, Teresa Esposito and husband Peter of Franklin, NJ and Gloria Shepherd and fiancé Joe Murray of Greenville, VA; grandchildren, Robert Shepherd, Jospeh Mangini, Nicole Cash, Nicole Lenat, Jack Palmer, Rudolph Peterson; great-grandchildren, Joseph Mangini, Jr., Andrew Mangini, Michael Mangini, Anthony Mangini, Jason Mangini, Jr., Amelia Panico, Samantha Panico, Savannah Cash, Jeffrey Cash, Jr. and Brianna Peterson; brother, Joseph Falk and wife Ruby of Kansas City, KS.

Following cremation, a celebration of life service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, November 21, 2012 at Baldwin Park Apartments with her dear friend, Father Burt Sare officiating.
