
Mrs. Cabell was born on May 19, 1949 in Waynesboro, and was a daughter of the late Winfred Hause and Vergie Bell (Padgett) Fitzgerald. Janet worked for Hershey, Invista, and Virginia Metal Crafters. She was a very spunky lady and always had a great sense of humor. Mrs. Cabell loved history and watching horror movies. She always enjoyed celebrating each and every holiday, especially Halloween. Her greatest enjoyment at Halloween was getting to see all the children in their costumes and handing out candy to them.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Edwin “Bill” Cabell, Jr.
Mrs. Cabell is survived by her son, William Edward Watson and his wife Renee Southers of Staunton; grandchildren, Sierra and Drew Southers; and her half-sisters, Diana Bishop, Brenda Fitzgerald, and Sandy Fitzgerald.
In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Cabell was preceded in death by her twin sister, Joyce Fitzgerald.
