

Mr. Davis was born on December 8, 1951 in Pittsburgh, PA and was a son of the late John and Armentia (White) Davis. He was a graduate of Carnegie Mellon University. Tom received many accolades during his long career in TV News Production, including an Emmy. Tom fought a long battle with heart disease, and did so with courage and without complaint. Three and half years ago, he received the generous gift of a donated heart. Tom lived in the moment, and enjoyed every day of his life. He was a part of a large fellowship of friends in San Francisco, Chicago, and Staunton. Mr. Davis served his community by volunteering his time and mentoring many individuals.
He is survived by his wife of 35 years Gail (Dubinsky) Davis.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Davis is survived by his children, Aaron John Davis and wife, Chrishunda of Chicago, Shane Davis, of Staunton; a brother, John Davis and wife, Lillian Garland of Washington D.C.; a cousin, Gene White and wife, Alice; special friends, Joe Kristoff and wife, Marsha Pillet, William “Bo” Beaudin and Richard Pippin.
The celebration of life service will be held on Friday March 18, 2022 at 10 AM at the Staunton Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes with Rabbi Randi Nagel officiating. Burial will follow at the Thornrose Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at their home following the service at the cemetery.
