Dolores Marie Lee

Dolores was born in Chicago, Illinois, on August 2nd, 1941, to Ted and Marie Romanski. Her parents preceded her in death, as did her husband of 45 years, Robert, and her son, Christopher.

She is survived by her beloved children, son Michael, daughter Cathy and son in law David, and daughter Vicki; her cherished grandchildren, Jaymi, Kevin (Abbey), Ryan, and Marcus; her adoring great-grandchildren, Addisyn, Xander, Adam, Ruby, and Caleb; her sister Barbara and brother in law Glen; her nieces, Ann, Nancy, and Peggy; and many other family and friends she has made over the years.

Dolores was a devoted wife and loving mother who cared immensely for her family. She was also a hard worker with multiple jobs over her lifetime. She would come to own the diner she served as waitress and was a proud business owner for many years. When failing vision forced her to retire, she decided to join the local Lions Club of Berwyn as one of the first female members and volunteered her time to teach people how to interact with service animals. Her work with the community was an important contribution and made her family very proud. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
