Dear family of Frances Surowiecki,
  My name is Ellen Novota. I had the pleasure of meeting Frances. I actually transported her back and forth from a doctors appt, and later. I had the priveledge of transporting her to her grandaughters wedding. I met some of her family.
  Whenever I was at Glenshire, I stopped in to see her. She really became my friend. 
   I just want you to know how disappointed and sad to hear of her passing. My heart goes out to her family. Even though months have passed I still see her friendly face in my mind. Peace and comfort I will continue to pray for your family. Until then Francis may you always know I cared.

It's always said that someone has their 'time'; their time to go to bed, their time on break, or their time to go. But did it ever occur that the people around you don't necessarily agree with that time? Like maybe it was too soon in time to crack a joke, too soon to leave work, or too soon to say goodbye to someone who has impacted your life in more ways than one. 

I love you Grandma, more that I think you know/knew. You were my light in the dark. You helped me get over so many fears. Yet now I have a new fear and I can't go to you to help me through it; I have a fear that I'll never be the same. I know healing takes time but all I want is my grandma back.

Thank you for accepting me into your family and into your heart you will be loved forever, I will miss you!!!

You are the greatest grandma a grandchild could ask for. When something was going on you knew without anyone telling you and you accepted it and helped us get better. You were never judgmental about anything no matter what. A great cook, taught us great discipline, always a listening ear and person to go to for our problems. You always loved us the same no matter the situation, good or bad. You just wanted was best for us. You put us first to make sure we were emotionally, mentally and physically stable. I wish I could see you one last time. I wish you could've met my girlfriend, most importantly I wish you could still be here. I love you grandma, you will always have a spot in my heart. Watch over our family as we continue your legacy. You taught me to be patient and good things will come to me. I will always have the big heart you have, I will always be stubborn like you were, I will always think of the things you told me when I was down. I will always remember the great memories we shared. Rest in peace grandma you will be missed a lot by everyone. We love you grandma and watch over us forever

Words cannot describe how much I miss you and love you. Im so lost without you. You will forever be in my heart and mind. Your great grandchildren will grow up knowing how awesome, funny, caring, loving, soul you are. I wish you were still here with us. When you passed I lost a big part of me. Until we meet again. My sisters and I are SO thankful for the time we had with Frances as our Mother's roommate at Westchester nursing home for the last year. We shared stories and always looked forward to visiting with Frances in conjunction with seeing Mom. For me, Sue, Frances and I shared a love of nail polish. I would bring her different bright colors and she would always comment on my nails too. When I would leave the room I would always wiggle her big tow and she would laugh. We will miss her.

My deepest condolences to all of the Surowiecki Family. Fran was a great lady and I have many fond memories of her. She will continue to be in my thoughts and prayers as will you all.
