Jose F. Perez

Jose F. Perez, 84, of Homewood, IL, formerly a 55-year resident of Chicago, IL, peacefully entered his heavenly home on Tuesday, December 2, 2025. Born on July 2, 1941, in Peñuelas, Puerto Rico, Jose was a man of deep faith and an enduring example of Christs love.

He was a devoted husband, a loving and supportive father, and a wonderfully fun grandfather. Jose's quiet strength and unwavering commitment to his family provided comfort and security, embodying the principle that love means stepping up when most needed.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Carmen; his children: Jose (Marilyn), Carmen, Angie (Luis), Elizabeth (Julio), Noemi (Hector), and Tomas (Cynthia); and a multitude grandchildren and great grandchildren. Dear brother of Noel, Raul, David, & Edward.

Preceded in death by his loving parents Tomas Perez

and Isabel Vega Perez and sister- Consuelo Caraballo.

Visitation Sunday, December 7, 2025 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Mount Auburn Funeral Home, 4101 S. Oak Park Avenue, Stickney, IL 60402. Funeral service Monday, December 8, 2025. Family and friends can gather at Mount Auburn Funeral Home at 9:00 a.m. Chapel service at 11:00 a.m. Pastor Raul Perez and Pastor Edgar Perez, officiating. Burial to follow at Mount Auburn Memorial Park, Stickney, IL.
