Maria was the loving wife of the late Ernesto Estrada Sr.

She is survived by her children; Anita Estrada Smith, Thomas (Christine) Estrada, Graciela (Michael) Ruiz, Elizabeth E. (Gilbert) Roman, Elsa (Randall) DeNormandie, and Ernesto (fiancée Elaine) Estrada Jr.

She will also be remembered by her grandchildren; Timothy M. Smith, Lelia M. Gonzalez, Nicolas C. Smith, the late Cheryl A. Estrada, Eugene E. (Angie L.) Estrada, Sarah Donnovin-Estrada, Michael (fiancee April) Ruiz Jr., Erica N. Ruiz, Azalia A. (Michael) Falesch, Leah M. (Jose Maria) Estrada, Gilbert P. (Amber) Roman Jr., Alexis J. (Joseph) Roman, Tyler J. (Megan) Roman, Minerva R. Fuentes, Alfredo L. Fuentes, and Christina M. Chavez.

She leaves behind her beloved great-grandchildren, Kaleb N. Gonzalez, Gabriel J. Sutton, King N. Strosina, Ardis D. Smith, Peter J. Estrada, Autumn Ritz, Faith Ritz, Braden S. Rojas, Isabella Ruiz, Michael Ruiz Jr., Isaiah Ruiz, Naomi Torres, Sadie Lora, Maximilien Falesch, Cassandra N. Estrada, Elias T. Estrada, Lydia R. Estrada, Azrael J. Roman, Violet B. Mendoza, Wenry E. Roman, Maribell A. Flores, Sophia R. Flores, Aurelio Flores, Ivan G. Chavez, Jr., Liana R. Chavez, Alyssa M. Chavez, Lorenzo A. Chavez, Natalie G. Fuentes, and one very special great-great grandchild, Logan Estrada.

A visitation will be held at Mount Auburn Funeral Home, located at 4101 South Oak Park Ave, Stickney, IL, 60402, on Thursday, February 26, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

The funeral service is scheduled for Friday, February 27, 2026, starting at 10:00 am at St. Cletus Catholic Church, 600 W 55th St, La Grange, IL, 60525.

A burial will follow at Mount Auburn Cemetery, 4101 S Oak Park Ave, Stickney, IL, 60402.
