Dear Friends of Patrick,

    We would just like to thank you for all of your kind words and condolences offered during this difficult time. Our father was really a good friend and I am glad each one of you had a chance to know him.

        Pat and I were classmates at St. Thomas for a couple years. At the time we did not know each other well. We both took different life paths after our St. Thomas years. Several years back, unforeseen circumstances caused our paths to cross again. Over these last several years we came to know each other better and to enjoy the pleasure of each other's company. So, suddenly receiving the news of Pat's death brought shock and sadness. 
 I'm grateful for having known Pat. My sympathies are extended to his family and all who knew him. Peace to all, Bob Jaskula

I met Patrick while playing baseball for the 48 Dodgers of the Roy Hobbs Baseball League last summer. He was such a great baseball enthusiast and instructor being it was my first year. Some of the best times were sitting on the bench keeping score together and telling stories and jokes. I will sorely miss his presence in the dugout. I am at peace to know he is a lifetime time player for the Angels now!

I enjoyed sharing fun moments with Pat during trips from Chicago to Las Vegas to Los Angeles over the years, usually with our good mutual friend, Bob Libault.  Pat was always enthusiastic and fascinated by life, with so many plans to enjoy it to the fullest. He was humble and his top priorities were his friends and family. He is an example to us all. May he continue to live his dreams and share his joy in the heavens.  As for this world, he will be deeply missed by many.

I was at Continental at Midway Airport, did not work with him directly and it was only for a few months. When I did have a few talks with him, it was a pleasure. I am sure he will be missed by his family and all his friends that he had amassed over the years. May God Bless his family and all that will miss him.

I played baseball with Pat and was his Dodgers teammate in 2010.  He was a great teammate and we enjoyed laughing at each jokes on the bench.  One game last summer Pat hit a line drive base hit into centerfield.  As he was chugging to 1st base he yelled out "This is my first hit in 2 seasons of playing Roy Hobbs Baseball...Not bad for a 66 year old Ba...rd, huh?" Those were his actual words!  The whole team laughed very hard.  He will be missed as a baseball teammate and will be remembered as a great jovial guy.  I'm sure he'll be playing baseball for the Angels on his Heavenly Team.

I had the privilege of working with Pat at Continental Airlines. He always had a smile on his face! But, I really got to know him when we took a trip to Egypt together in 1999. We had such a great time on that trip-it's one I will never forget. Thanks for the memories Pat! You will be missed. My deepest sympathy to his family.

I met Pat in the late 90's when I put out a call out to Chicagoland T-Birds regarding a business venture I was starting.  While it didn't work out, our friendship did.  Over those years we got together mostly in Chicago and even in Vegas in 2008.  Given the Tbird in both of us we always filled in the gaps between visits by phoning each other and telling each other where we were traveling to and where to meet up next.  Whether it be Chicago, the Texas Hill Country, Atlanta, the Florida Gulf Coast, or Vegas.  Pat has always been one who reached out to you no matter what was going on in his life.  Especially over Christmas and New years before you could make the phone call, just as he did a few weeks ago, he'd be on his phone dialing you up and wishing you the best holiday cheer.

I met Pat in 1980 after I married his cousin, Tom.  He always kept in touch no matter where we were.  He was fun and smart and he loved family above all.  We were lucky to be able to see Pat (and Davey) when he came up to stay with us and go to a Vikings game last fall (you know he loved those Vikings!). 
Tom talked to him often and Pat would always end with "love ya cuz".  He is gone too soon and we will miss him.

Pat loved people and was full of life.   He will be
truly missed by all that were fortunate enough to know him!

I met Pat through a common friend from Thunderbird. I have always been impressed by Pat's joie de vivre. We've kept in contact through the common friend we had and Pat had been trying to visit me in Paris.. Too bad it didn't materialize. I will dearly miss him!!!
