Roy M. Calderon
16 avril 1932 – 18 novembre 2021
Roy was born in Chicago, Illinois to Vincent and Juanita Calderon on April 16, 1932.
He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend.
He served with the United States Army during the Korean War in 1952 and was honorably discharged. Throughout his life, he had many diverse and special traits including gymnastics, being a guitarist, and photographer. He was an avid fisherman and handcrafted numerous poles, flies, and lures.
He was an accomplished marble setter and bricklayer, being an active member with the International Union of Bricklayers and Allied Craftworkers for over 50 years. Some of his work can be seen in the historical buildings in the City of Chicago such as the Water Tower and John Hancock building.
