Tom, Lucy and Krystal, David, Beth, children and Jennie:  I cannot even begin to express the heaviness I feel in my heart for your loss.  Tom, I have talked with your mother several times through the past few months and she has kept me informed about Tommy's condition so I had been able to ask many people here in Arizona, as well as back in East Moline and Bettendorf to add your son to their prayer list.   I wish I could be there for you, if for no other reason than to give all of you a hug.  Unfortunately, I cannot, but please know that you all are in my prayers.  It has been a horribly long struggle for all of you, but my heart knows that your whole family is one of Christian values and strength and I know that God will embrace all of you and give you the strength that you will need to get through this painful time.
