AVIS DE DÉCÈS

Winnie Mejias Kyrk

6 septembre 1979 – 9 février 2026
Avis de décès de Winnie Mejias Kyrk
AUX SOINS DE

Mount Auburn Funeral Home & Cemetery

“Winnie Mejias Kyrk was born on September 6, 1979, and passed away on February 9, 2026.

Our lives have been changed forever because we knew Winnie. Her passing leaves a space that cannot be filled, but she will live on in the memories she created, the love she gave, and the countless hearts she touched.

Winnie was raised in Bohol, Philippines alongside her five siblings- Windyl, Winalou, Wyncel, Wenjun, and Mhelyn- and her loving parents, Mila and Noling. She and her family shared a strong bond, shaping the person she became. From a young age, she was selfless, hardworking, and kindhearted, always putting others before herself. Later she became the proud mother of twin daughters, Phine and Faith. Winnie was a nurturing parent in every sense- patient, understanding, and affectionate. She poured herself into her daughters and provided a home where they felt endlessly supported and loved.

While working in Manila, Winnie met Carl Kyrk, a young and ambitious business engineer. They quickly fell in love and got married. Winnie was not only Carl’s wife, but his partner through life, someone who brought laughter and happiness into their 25 years together. Once she became a member of the Kyrk family, she was cherished by her in-laws: Anny, David, Cato, Denise, and Laura Kyrk.

Throughout her 46 years of life, Winnie cared for people in quiet but powerful ways. She formed deep connections with her coworkers, friends, and anyone who had the privilege of knowing her. She was a person who gave her time, money, love, and energy freely. Not a day goes by where we won’t miss her laughter, warmth, beautiful smile, and comforting presence.

In keeping with her wishes, we will not be having a funeral service. Instead, we will be bringing her ashes back to the Philippines where she will be laid to rest on our family’s farm.”
