Alice Jeraldine Dutton

Alice was born December 4, 1939 to Thelma Louise Bivins and James Rayford Bivins in Atlanta, Georgia. She was a member of Hemphill Memorial Presbyterian Church in Stockbridge. She loved spending time with her family, her church family, and especially her grandchildren. She also enjoyed traveling, camping, shopping, reading, and cooking.

Alice was preceded in death by her mother Thelma Bivins, her father Rayford Bivins, and her son Rick Dutton. She is survived by her husband of 64 years Hubert Dutton, son Tommy Dutton (Amy), son Jeff Dutton (Tammy), daughter-in-law Teresa Dutton, brother Ray Bivins (Sandra), sister Frances Mullins, sister Joanie Whitson, as well as many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the cemetery fund at Hemphill Memorial Presbyterian Church, 633 Hemphill Road, Stockbridge, Georgia. 30281

A visitation of family and friends will be held for Alice on Tuesday, June 7, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Horis A. Ward Funeral Home - Fairview Chapel | 376 Fairview Road Stockbridge, Georgia 30281. A celebration of her life will take place Wednesday, June 8, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Hemphill Memorial Presbyterian Church | 633 Hemphill Road Stockbridge, GA 30281. Services will conclude with a graveside committal at Hemphill Memorial Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Rev. Bill Herndon and Rev. Scott Combs, officiating.
