He also leaves to cherish his memory, sons; Donald (Wendy) Cotler, Terry (Robin) Cotler, Timothy (Georgia) Cotler; step-sons Stephen (Pattye) Casarow, Mike (Lorraine) Casarow; 11 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; niece Sheila (Cotler) Adams; nephew Mark Cotler; niece Shelley (Cotler) Ayers; cousins Frayda (Kaplan) Bruton, Eve Linda (Kaplan) Wallin.
He was preceded in death by his parents; aunt Helen (Cotler) Kaplan; uncle Dave Kaplan; brother Gerald Cotler; nephew Robert Cotler and grandson Stephen Casarow Jr.
He was born September 18, 1936 in Ventnor, NJ to Allen Cotler and Bertha Yeutter. Al was a graduate of Vineland High School in Vineland, NJ; a veteran (Corpsman) of the United States Navy and an active member of Pine Grove Baptist Church in Stockbridge, GA. He enjoyed many outdoor activities including gardening, fishing and hunting.
Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation on Saturday, September 15, 2018 from 11:00 am -1:00 pm at Horis A. Ward-Fairview Chapel, 376 Fairview Road, Stockbridge, GA 30281, where the funeral will begin at 1 p.m. Burial will immediately follow in Fairview Memorial Gardens.
