Barbara was truly one of a kind. She made me feel like family-like I was her brother. Every Christmas, she baked cakes with so much love, not just for the cake itself, but for the joy it brought to others. That was who Barbara was—a person who gave without hesitation, who cared deeply, and who made the world brighter just by being in it. I will forever cherish the memories of her kindness and the laughter we shared at the family reunions. My sister was my friend. She visited me while I was stationed in Germany. During her visit, I took her to the Eagle's Nest in Berchesgaden, Germany.
The top of the mountain was beautiful and breath taking with the appearance of Heaven in the skies.
She has now departed us and is in a place a million times better than the view of the mountain top.
