She was predeceased by her parents, Clyde and Essie Maude Mitchell; husband John Watson; brothers, Sam, William, and Harold Mitchell; sister, Betty Weese, and great-grandchild, Anthony “AJ” DAmato. She is survived by her children, Donald Weese and Denise (Kemper) Shipp; grandchildren, Jill (Brian) DAmato, Jan (Scott) Ellis; great-grandchildren, Lance, Jacob, Kate, and Kimberly; step-children and step-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.

The family will receive friends Saturday, March 17, 2018 from 11AM-12PM at Horis A. Ward Funeral Home Fairview Chapel, 376 Fairview Road, Stockbridge, GA 30281. Funeral services will follow at 12PM.
