Betty was the beloved daughter of William R. Corley and Ela V. Starnes, both of whom preceded her in death, along with her brother, R.W. Corley.
A devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Betty’s life was rooted in love, faith, and family.
A woman of deep Christian faith, Betty found joy and strength in attending church and fellowshipping with her church family. Her faith was a guiding light throughout her life. She had a passion for gardening and found beauty in flowers of every kind. An animal lover at heart, she had a special fondness for cats, treating them with the same warmth and care she extended to everyone around her. Family was the cornerstone of Betty's life. She cherished time spent with her loved ones, especially moments shared with her great-granddaughters, Avery and Reagan, who brought her immense joy—whether it was simple visits or cherished trips to the store.
She is survived by her son, Michael R. Stephens, Sr. and daughter-in-law, Sandra Stephens; her grandchildren, Michael R. Stephens Jr., Betty Jean Stephens, and William Scott Stephens; her granddaughter-in-law, Andrea Stephens; and her treasured great-granddaughters, Avery and Reagan Stephens.
Betty's legacy is one of love, kindness, and unwavering devotion to her family and faith. She will be deeply missed by all who were blessed to know her.
