Brenda Gail Bembry

Brenda was a loving mother, sister and friend. She loved her family with all she had. She also loved her church family. Brenda loved doing outreach with her church and anything else that was asked of her in the service of God. She fed anyone that would stay still long enough to be handed a plate. She also loved fishing and going on cruises with her family. Brenda had a kind heart and a loving soul. Most of all, she loved Jesus Christ and put Him first.

In addition to her parents, Zeb and LaTrella Shirley, Brenda was preceded in death by her loving husband of many years, Mr. Carlton Thomas Bembry.

She is survived by one daughter, Amanda Wilson (Gary); one son, Carlton "Tom" Bembry, ll (Kayla); grandchildren, Chris Wilson, Lauren Scott, Octavian Scott, Brandon Wilson, Aubree Bembry, Layla Bembry, Colton Bembry, Christian Hale, Destiny Hale, Abby Hale, and Ethan Hale; several great grandchildren; two brothers, Randal Shirley (Sandra) and Shane Shirley (Donna); two sisters, Kathy Kimsey and Judy Bone (Dwight); along with many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to gather for Brenda's visitation which will be held Friday, June 30, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Horis A. Ward Funeral Home - Fairview Chapel | 376 Fairview Road Stockbridge, Georgia 30281. A celebration of her life will immediately follow in Ward's Chapel. Services will conclude with a graveside committal at Fairview Memorial Gardens | 164 Fairview Road, Stockbridge, Georgia 30281. Pastor Luke Morrison and Master Titus Morrison, officiating.
