Loving mother of Matthew Bryan, Justin Cvengros (Shantal), Tina Fowler (Scott), Alan Cvengros, and Sarah Bryan. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, her sister, Georgia Chancellor (Bill), brothers, Raleigh Heaton (Karen), Rodney Heaton (Pam), nieces, nephews, loving family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Embery and Dorothy Heaton, and brother, Gregory "Greg" Heaton.
A Mother, A Daughter, A Sister, A Friend and No DOUBT of her kindness, Carolyn left this world a better place than she found it… Always accepting others into her home for a meal that she collected through her search of recipes she enjoyed collecting. She also surrounded herself with family and was there anytime she was needed. She never missed an opportunity to get together. And if you were at her home you knew she loved her dogs. Animals were precious to her and were treated like they were people. She had a long career at the Stockbridge Post Office where she gained another family. We lost this extraordinary person way too soon but I am sure that the Lord is welcoming her and saying “Carolyn you have completed a Job Well Done!”
Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation on Tuesday, September 15, 2020 from 4-8 p.m. with 10 person’s rotation in intervals at Horis A. Ward Funeral Home Fairview Chapel, 376 Fairview Road, Stockbridge, GA 30281, where funeral service will be held with limited seating on Wednesday, September 16, 2020 at 11 a.m., burial will immediately follow in Fairview Memorial Gardens.
