Rev. Charles C. Handley, Sr., age 84, a retired minister of the North Georgia United Methodist Conference, passed away April 13, 2011. He is survived by his wife, Mary Alice Handley; children Kathy (John) Rawls, Chuck (Catherine) Handley and Beth (John) Martin: three grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Rev. Handley was cremated and a memorial services will be conducted on Thursday, April 21st at 2:00 pm, at the Hampton First United Methodist Church with Rev. Mark Burgess and Ministers Paul Leslie and Dee Martin officiating. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to Crosswalk Ministries, USA Atlanta, P.O. Box 1613, McDonough, Ga. 30253.
