To Christy's family:

I was so shocked and sad to learn about Christy. I had just spoken to her a few days before I left for vacation. She was such a beautiful lady, always so cheery, nice and friendly. I enjoyed getting to know her while she worked at Public Health. She was very proud of her sons and loved you both deeply. Christy will be missed.

I was truly sadden to hear of Christy's passing! She was a beautiful soul! A very kind and beautiful spirit! God has another angel! My prayers go out to her family.

My sincerest prayers are sent up for the Family and Friends of Christy. She was truly a sweet and special lady. If you needed a miracle worked...Christy was the go to person.  I am going to miss our chats and breaks together...in fact I already do.  Rest In Peace my friend.

I sat in the cubicle next to Christy at the Department of Public Health, on the 9th floor.  She was always very kind to me and smiled when we would see each other in the hall.  My heart goes out to all of her loved ones.

I had the pleasure of working with Ms. Christy at Public Health and she was the most helpful person. Her job didn't seem like a chore to her, but a joy.  She always did whatever she could to provide assistance and she'll be greatly missed.

Sorry to hear about Christy.  She will truly be  missed at work.   God Bless and Keep you all.

I arrived at work today to hear of Christy's sudden passing and was truly sadden. Just shared moments together on Friday.  Her welcomed sprit touched mine! She will truly be missed! My condelences to her sons and family...you have my deepest sympathy during this hour of sorrow.

Christy came to Public Health a little while before I left.  I enjoyed working with her, she was always willing to do whatever it took to get the job done.  I was so sorry to hear of her passing. Our prayers an thoughts are with her family and friends.

I am so sad to hear of Christy's sudden passing.  We developed a wonderful friendship over the years of working together.  Not a day went by that we didn't talk about family.  She loved her son's and was very proud of their successes and the men they became. Christy was always willing to help her family, friends, neighbors and co-workers.  Christy had a great work ethic and always wanted to learn more and challenge herself.  Christy and I joked that she was my "why" child.  I could not have done my job without her.  She always saw the best in a person and never looked down on anyone.  Christy's passing will leave a void for many of us.  I am blessed that she was part of my life and a friend.

Although I did not work with Christy often, she was always so very willing to help co-workers and offer assistance. This month she literally dropped everything to help me unlock a door. She was always there to help with a friendly smile, then was off again to help someone else. I am so very sad to hear this tragic news. My thoughts and prayers go out to her family.

I got so many compliments from other employees on how much they appreciated Christy going out of her way to make sure they got what they needed at work...not because she had to, but because she wanted to. She was a wonderful employee and a valued member of our work team. She spoke to me often about the joy she felt about her sons, her friends, her siblings and her family. She will truly be missed by everyone at 2 Peachtree St. RIP.

Christy always had a smile for us and was a terrific colleague.  She will be missed here at DPH.

Christy was a kind and caring spirit. When reflecting on her leisure time, she spoke fondly of her Harley.  At work, she brought her warm smile, energy and attention to detail. I am fortunate to have met Christy during her time at the agency.  My prayers go out to her sons, her family and friends.

I knew Christy through her work with emergency and evacuation procedures at the Georgia Department of Public Health.  She was a kind and caring person.  I will miss her very much.

I am absolutely heartbroken to learn of Chris' passing!  One day I was running from floor to floor facilitating multiple appointments and without warning my hamstring locked up and I could not move. . . Well, Chris came along and immediately express empathy, she went and found a rolling chair, sat me down in it and pushed me all the way to my destination!! At least I got to say 'Bye Chris' as she was leaving work on Friday afternoon.  I will never forget!!!!! - Olivene McGregor (DPH, WIC)
