He was born on October 29th, 1950 to Lillie Mae Addie in Atlanta, Georgia where he stayed close to for most of his life. Danny was a craftsman through and through, constantly repairing and creating with his hands. He was a man of few words yet his heart was as big as the sky. He would never let anyone leave without trying to give them something he thought they needed more than him, and if he did need it he would just buy it again without a word or worry. Danny would give you his last dollar or the very shirt off his back without question. He cherished Christmas and always made sure to make it special for his kids and grandkids. He loved watching cowboys, playing solitaire, watching TikToks, midnight snacks, and talking politics with his son. He enjoyed his daily conversations with his best buddy, Bobby, and talks with his brothers, Randall and Randy. He was blessed to have daily chats with his mother and the famous "If it's the good Lord's will" goodnight prayers.
Danny is survived by his mother, Lillie Mae Addie; his son, Ronnie Messer (Alice); his daughter, Tanya Messer; and his grandchildren, Mercedes, Jacob, Ethan, and Nathan Messer.
A celebration of life memorial service will be held for Danny on Saturday, January 18, 2025 at 11:00 AM at The Rock Baptist Church, 6188 GA-42, Rex, GA 30273.
