Dorothy is survived by her children, Johnny (Sandra) Sines, Alan Creasy (Don Ruane), Hope Craven, and Dianne Douglas (Chris Clewis); grandchildren, John (Patricia) Sines Jr., Sammie (Jennifer) Sines, Dale (Kelli) Craven, Missy (Keith) Lashley, Cheyenne (Matt) Quigley, Josh Craven (Gary Davidson), Chris Craven, Tiffany Tyler (Chris), Jennifer (Robert) Hammett, Brandy Sines, Crystal Sines, April (Richard) Rivers, Sean Rivers, and McKenzie Sines; as well as 17 great-grandchildren.
Dorothy is preceded in passing by her daughter, Deborah May Hairston.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, June 28th 2017 between 6 pm and 8 pm at Horis A. Ward Funeral Home – Fairview Chapel. Funeral services will be held the next day, Thursday, June 29th 2017 at Horis A. Ward Funeral Home – Fairview Chapel at 1 pm. Interment to follow in Fairview Memorial Gardens.
At the request of the family, we ask that everyone in attendance try to wear purple as a fitting tribute to Dorothy, whose favorite color was purple.
