Esther Haulk

Esther J. Haulk was born on November 24, 1939, daughter of the late Sam and Dorothy Jenkins. She was married to the late Mack Haulk. She was a loving mother, devoted Christian and loved by all. Esther was an active member of Life in the Spirit Church and a true missionary of God. She was employed by Southwest Airlines, whom most of which she considered her second family. Esther was a very kind and gentle soul; she had a loving and generous heart, and was always giving to others.

Throughout her life she maintained a sweet and simple demeanor that won the trust and hearts of many, who even now are being changed by her witness of constant nurturing love and faith. Her signature gift of joy, shown through her smile and laughter will never be forgotten.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 50 years, Mack Haulk in December 2009 and her late sister Dorothy Jenkins Plott, known by most as “Tee”.

She leaves her loving memories to be cherished by her: sister, Sandra Jenkins, brother Floyd “Bub” Jenkins, devoted and loving sons, Hugh, Joshua and Jeremiah Haulk, all of McDonough, Georgia, loving daughter and best friend, Renee Haulk Fleming, grandchildren, Jared and Courtney Fleming, Ethan, Lauren and Hayden Haulk, and many nieces and nephews.

Services will be held Wednesday, March 9th beginning with a viewing from 2 – 6pm at Faith Baptist Church, 346 Hwy 138E, Stockbridge, GA, dinner/refreshments from 6 – 6:45pm and celebration of life memorial services will follow in the Faith Baptist Church Sanctuary at 7 pm. We will be meeting at the Faith Baptist Church at 1:30 pm on Thursday, March 10th for a processional to Fairview Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Stockbridge, Georgia for graveside services.
