Farrell Loyd Pitts

Farrell joined the U.S. Army at age 17, and then, after his discharge, he became a part of a unit in the National Guard. Throughout his life, he remained grateful for the stability and training he received from his military service.

Married to his wife, June, at age 20, January 25, 2020 marked their 68th wedding anniversary. According to her, Farrell came to know Jesus Christ in a personal way in November of that same year. This past November of 2019, marked his 67th birthday as son of God, based on a favorite Bible passage. Farrell memorized many Bible verses and passages during his lifetime.

Husband, father, son in-law, brother in-law, uncle, friend, neighbor, co-worker, Minister, musician, a genuine life-long learner, master of many skills and trades. He will be missed by his children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and a host of loving family and friends.

Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation on Tuesday, February 4, 2020 from 12:30 – 1:30 p.m. at Horis A. Ward Funeral Home, 376 Fairview Road, Stockbridge, GA 30281, where funeral service will begin at 1:30 p.m.

Entombment will immediately follow in Fairview Memorial Gardens with military honors.
