Loving father of Troy McKoy (Kelly), Tisha McKoy, grandfather of, Jennah McKoy, Cameron McKoy and Miles McKoy. He is also survived by his brothers and sisters, Cynthia Hazell, Barrington McKoy (Barbara), Pamela McKoy, Tyrone McKoy (Christine), David McKoy (Sherry), Deborah McKoy, his nieces, nephews, loving family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his other siblings; Gaylord McKoy, Regina Bullock, Judith Ann McKoy, and Barbara Lynn McKoy.
Frederick was an avid fishermen, wood carver and a great outdoorsmen. He loved spending time in his garden. He was an Omega Psi Phi member, a football player at Michigan State University, and a talented track and field star. Frederick will be missed by many and will be remembered for being a great role model to his family and friends.
A private memorial to celebrate his life will be held at a later date.
