Mr. McAllister was born on September 4, 1933 in Atlanta, GA to his parents, Tyree and Annie McAllister. He was a faithful member and deacon of Way of the Cross Baptist Church of McDonough, GA.
Mr. McAllister is survived by his wife, Barbara K. McAllister; his daughter, Susan Denise McAllister; his grandchildren, Tosha Brown and her husband Micah Brown; Jason Gibson and his wife Netty Hampton, Bart McAllister, and Matthew McAllister; his great grandchildren, Halee Jean, Leigha Danielle, Ella Denise, and Jaylyn Marie; his sister, Mary Mackin; his nephews, Michael Lambert, Eddie Wilkerson; his nieces, Janice Zuza, and Gina Leffingwell.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 21, 2015 at Way of the Cross Baptist Church, 1640 Mt. Carmel Road, McDonough, at 11:00 am. The family will receive friends Friday evening at Horis A. Ward Funeral Home, 376 Fairview Road, Stockbridge, from 5 to 8 pm. Mr. McAllister will be buried in College Park Cemetery, College Park, GA.
