Georgialee Coley Thomas, 78, of Rex, Georgia, passed away on July 15, 2014. She was predeceased by her parents, Vivian Valentine Coley and Ernest Yarbor Coley, Sr., Her Aunt Myrtie Coley and Uncle George Coley, and brother, Alvin Coley also preceded her in death. Georgialee is survived by a daughter, Karin D. Snellgrove; granddaughter, Suzanne Long.; brother, Ernest Yarbor Coley, Jr; sister, Erne Popplewell; sister-in-law, Amber Coley; and several nieces and nephews. Georgialee worked for Life of Georgia for over 40 years.
A memorial service will be held at Horis A. Ward funeral home in Stockbridge, on Friday, July 18, at 11:00am. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service, from 10am-11am. Burial will follow in the Fairview Memorial Gardens cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations can be made for her granddaughter Suzanne Long. An account has been set up and any donations given will be deposited in that account.
