Gregory was born on August 1, 1990, at Piedmont Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia. During his early years, he grew up in Ellenwood, Georgia and had the privilege of living close to family where he would make close bonds with his cousins, aunts, and uncles, which would endure. He went on to graduate from Jackson High School and then to attend UGA where he earned a bachelor's degree in business administration. His first job was in sales, and we were so surprised at what a great salesman he was! His mind worked differently than others and he was very intelligent. This led him to be an entrepreneur, and he finally realized that dream. He bought a piece of property, found investors, developed it and sold his first house in 2024 and was so proud!
Gregory loved music, mainly rap and electronic, and made his own music as well. He loved his video games and working out. He liked to run and recently started playing disc golf. It seemed like he excelled at everything he put his mind to.
Gregory is survived by his mother and stepfather, Rhonda and Mark Baker; his father and stepmother, Gary and Diann Wilhoit; siblings, Lauren McDonald, Tyler Wilhoit, Brandon Johnston and Joshua Johnston; grandparents, Anne and Scott Brightwell, Ron and Brita Laird, and Harry Smith; nieces, Jocelyn McDonald and Addilyn McDonald; so many aunts, uncles and cousins who loved him dearly and all his many loyal, lifelong friends.
A visitation of family and friends will be held for Gregory on Saturday, February 1, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Horis A. Ward Funeral Home - Fairview Chapel | 376 Fairview Road Stockbridge, Georgia 30281, followed by a celebration of his life at 4:00 PM in Ward's Chapel.
