

Gwendolyn Joyce Cirwithian Williams of Stockbridge, Georgia passed away November 19, 2020, after battling several illnesses. She is locally under the care of Horis A. Ward Funeral Home - Fairview Chapel.
Gwendolyn was affectionally known to her friends as Peachez. She was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on June 19, 1955 to the late Julia D. Cirwithian and Julius Perry.
She attended high school in Milford, Delaware, went on to serve in the United States Armed Forces from 1986-1990 and later attended college at Central Texas College. Her selfless efforts were most noted in the home healthcare profession in which she dedicated herself to for more than 25 years. She loved classic R & B, gardening, making jewelry, good soul food and was devoted to her grandchildren.
Gwendolyn was preceded in death by her mother, Julia Cirwithian; father, Julius Perry; brothers, Brain Keith Cirwithian, Robert Brown and Kendall Perry and grandmother, Julia Hall.
Gwendolyn is survived by her four children, Jonathan W. Cirwithian Sr. of Felton, Delaware, Julius M. Cirwithian of Wilmington, Delaware, Willona M. Hickson of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and Willetta N. Hickson of Houston, Texas; sisters, Karen Mitchell of St. Louis, Missouri, Gladys Cirwithian of Wilmington, Delaware, Darcy Perry of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Cynthia “LuLu” Wilford of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and Sally of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; brothers, Howard Cirwithian of Centennial, Colorado, Ronald Cirwithian (Denese) of Highland Ranch, Texas, Patrick Cirwithian of Ormond Beach, Florida and Frank, Juliius, Steven and Eulice of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; grandchildren, Jonathan Cirwithian Jr., Kierra Nicole Julynn Luckey, Ezra Julius Gabriel Hickson and Yazmeen Love Olivia Collier; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
The family takes comfort in knowing Gwendolyn’s mother and grandmother are waiting in Heaven to greet and hold her in their arms.
The Celebration of Life for Gwendolyn Joyce Cirwithian Williams will be held on Saturday, November 28, 2020 at 12:30PM at House of Wright Mortuary(Wilmington), 208 East 35th Street, Wilmington, Delaware, 302-762-8448, where public viewing will also be held from 12:00Noon - 12:30PM. Burial will immediately follow in White Chapel Cemetery, 140 W. Street Road, Feasterville, Pennsylvania.
