Irene Coleman Thacker passed away on Wednesday, June 3, 2015 in Stockbridge, Georgia at the age of 71. Irene is survived by her husband, Bernie Thacker; daughter, Deanna Bernice Thornton; son in-law, Fred Thornton; brother, Lowell Coleman; special family members, Clay Thornton, Lisa Summerlin, Rebecca Riggins, Gene Riggins, Clyde and Joan Lee. Irene was born on July 20, 1943 in Pikeville, Kentucky to the late Thomas and Sadie Coleman. She was a devoted member of Gateway Christian Church in Sevierville, Tennessee. Funeral services are scheduled for Sunday, May 7, 2015 at Horis A. Ward-Fairview Chapel at 1:00 pm; the family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from 6 to 8 pm.
