Jennifer Upchurch Mills

Jennifer was born in 1973 to proud parents, Joe and Jean Upchurch. She graduated from Stockbridge High School where she was homecoming queen, escorted by her father. Jennifer went on to be a firefighter for Henry County and Union City, where she earned the EMT diploma. Later, she worked for various ambulance services.

Jennifer was a light in her parents’ life along with her other brother, Joey Upchurch. She loved all her family and there were many, but she was fiercely protective of her children and brother. Jennifer’s children are Taylor Upchurch and Aaron Mills. They were precious to her and they loved her very much. She also was deeply in love with her husband of 10 years, Ronald Mills. Jennifer also had a grandson, Kayson Upchurch. She was a member of Pinecrest Baptist Church. Jennifer will be greatly missed by all of her family and friends, but we all know we will see her again in Heaven.

Jennifer’s grandparents were Wilbert and Frances Tumlin and Paul and Nell Upchurch. They preceded her in death along with her father and stepfather, Tony Fullerton.

Jennifer is survived by a loving husband, Ronnie Mills; two children, Taylor Upchurch and Aaron Mills; one grandson, Kayson Upchurch; one brother, Joey Upchurch (Tracie); bonus siblings, Destiny James, Jamee Kido (Henry), Kelly Fullerton, Tracey Kierns (Jerry), and Bill Morse (Stephanie); many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins whom she loved as well.

A visitation of family and friends will be held for Jennifer on Tuesday, April 19, 2022 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Horis A. Ward Funeral Home - Fairview Chapel | 376 Fairview Road Stockbridge, Georgia 30281, followed by a celebration of life ceremony at 2:00 PM in Ward's Chapel.
