Born July 13, 1947 to Harry and Doreen Wallace in Bennettsville, SC. Jo moved to Atlanta in the late 70's where she had a long career with MARTA and she retired from the company many years later. She married C.L Sharpton and throughout their marriage they travelled and cruised the world often.
She was very active in her church community. She often decorated the church for special occasions and holidays, Creating beautiful floral arrangements and wreaths.

A visitation for Jo will be held Tuesday, January 9, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at HORIS A WARD , 376 Fairview Road, Stockbridge, GA 30281.
