Johnnie L. Smith, 84, of McDonough, GA, passed away on August 24, 2015. Mrs. Smith is survived by her husband, Rev. Vernon Smith; her children, Rev. Mike Smith, Dondra Quinton, Karen Van Horn, David Smith, Steve Smith, Lisa Tucker, Leslie Dickinson, Greg Smith, Jason Smith; 25 grandchildren; 49 great grandchildren; and 2 great great grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, August 27 at 1:00 pm at Horis A. Ward Funeral Home – Fairview Chapel with the Rev. Mike Smith officiating. The interment will follow at Bethany Baptist Church cemetery, Hwy 81, McDonough. The family will receive friends Wednesday, August 26 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the Wards Fairview Chapel.
