Johnny Ray Nix, of Stockbridge, GA, passed away on June 26, 2016 at the age of 62. He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul Nix, Sr. and Dorothy Carlisle Nix; his grandson, Maddox Landon Starnes; and his sister, Linda Nix.
Johnny is survived by his wife, Lisa K. Nix; daughters, Lisa Maria Starnes, Linda Kristie Smith; son, Travis Ray Nix; grandsons, Avery Starnes, and Jaden Starnes; brother, Paul Nix, Jr.; sisters, Grace Chapman, Judy Seay, Brenda McGuoirk, Teresa Henderson, and Gail Jones; and several nieces, nephews, and other loving family members.
Visitation will be Saturday, July 2 at Horis A. Ward Fairview Chapel from 5 to 8 pm. Funeral services will be Sunday, July 3 in the chapel of the funeral home at 2 pm. Burial will follow in the Fairview Memorial Gardens cemetery.
